This was the first game I ever bought on steam and I gotta say, it is AMAZING! Intense games are fun sometimes and fun to watch gamers on youtube or my friends who game play but cozy games help me a lot. I have anxiety so playing cozy games is more my style on a regular basis and this one didn’t disappoint.

Not only do you get to decorate your own little bookshop on the go, you get to live by the seaside and sell in different areas of this fictional town. You get to grow relationships with the locals and they give you tasks/missions to compete. Tilde is probably my favorite character I’ve met so far. She used to be the local bookstore owner before she retired, but I love them all. 

The point of the game is to sell books out of your moving bookshop. After selling you use the money to purchase more inventory and it also supports buying items, paying for parking and travel. There are 7 genres that you can acquire and the more you have the higher chance of sale. Also certain places sell more of a genre. For example, when I sold close to the beach, kids books are a hit due to all the families and kids that come through.

What's even cooler is most if not all the books are real books from real authors (I don’t fully know though). Half the books I've looked at and sold I’ve heard of and I’ve also read a chunk of them. When locals ask for a book recommendation sometimes I’m able to give good recommendations. Sometimes it's a bust and they don’t take it, but we can’t win them all. 

I hope in the future that they update and add more books, genres, and locations. As of right now I think I have about 4 hours of game play and I can't wait to win it and achieve all the goals set! I also can’t wait to meet all the other characters in the game. 

My love for books and reading played into me getting this game over all my others on my wishlist. Books have been such a big part of my life for so many years and I’ve always had a dream about selling books/having my own bookstore one day and this allows me to role play in that dream.
